Pinterest has become the third most visited social network in the United States with more users that Google Plus, YouTube and LinkedIn combined. The social network will undoubtedly continue to break all sorts of online records as its community builds across the Atlantic.

With its meteoric rise it has taken the attention of two Dutch marketers who have created a dynamic plug-in the ‘Pinner’ that allows WordPress users to share material to their Pinterest account which can be scheduled and targeted at key segments.

Is Pinterest The Future of Teaching?

This week Mashable wrote about how teachers in the US are pinning on Pinterest with their students. Here in Ireland National University of Ireland Maynooth International Office has joined Pinterest to promote their services. Pinterest is growing at unbelievable rate It is reported that the site added more than 17 million users in March. In February alone, Pinterest drove more individuals to retail sites than Twitter, Google Plus, LinkedIn and YouTube combined.
